We’re a venue for everyone in Leeds, so unless the events says ‘students only’, consider yourself invited!

If the gig is marked as sold out it is unlikely that there will be more tickets available.

Our Box Office opens 15 minutes before the event is due to start.

If the event isn’t sold out then we’ll sell tickets on the door. Give us a call to double check and we’ll be happy to assist you.

Venues & Events

On 12th July 2021 nightclubs and other venues with large crowds were urged to make use of the NHS COVID Pass, which shows proof of vaccination, a recent negative test or natural immunity as a means of entry. Although COVID-status certification is not currently mandated by law, the latest Government guidance states that venues such as ours – where people are likely to be in close proximity to others outside their household – are encouraged to use the NHS COVID Pass to certify COVID status for all visitors. For entry to Live music events at Stylus within LUU, you will need to demonstrate your COVID-19 status by providing either:

Proof of full vaccination – both doses received (with the second at least 14 days prior to the arrival at the venue) or NHS exemption medical certificate.  Proof of vaccine status can be obtained by using the NHS App which we recommend you download and set up in advance of your visit to the venue.


Proof of a negative NHS Rapid Lateral Flow Test (such test to be taken within 24 hours prior to attending the event at the venue); or Proof of natural immunity based upon a positive PCR test within 180 days of arrival at the venue (and after the 10-day self-isolation period following the result) or NHS exemption medical certificate.

We expect that government guidance related to attending nightclubs and other venues may change in the coming weeks and months. Whilst this information is correct at this time we strongly recommend checking the criteria for attending events prior to the event taking place to check that any requirements for access have not changed.  We reserve the right to refuse entry to our venue should the appropriate proof of covid status not be provided.  The entire responsibility for ensuring the correct proof for entry is provided lies with the ticket holder. We will endeavour to communicate any updates or changes and will always display the most up to date requirements on our website but we hold no responsibility for the appropriate proof not being provided should entry be refused.

The closest location for drop-off and collections is the corner of Lifton Place & Cromer Terrace.

There’s a limited amount of off-street parking next to the venue. There is a Council-run carpark at Woodhouse lane (LS 2 3AX) within walking distance.

Our club nights are over 18s only, and most of our live gigs are under 14s to be accompanied by an adult.

If you check the individual event pages it’ll say the specific show’s age restriction.

Please note we reserve the right to check ID and refuse entry to anyone found to be under age.

There sure is! There are several ATM’s available inside LUU.

Sorry but we don’t allow re-entry into our venue.

Once you leave you will not be allowed to re-enter. But don’t worry we’ve got everything you’d need in there, a smoking area, bars and plenty of toilets.

Sure, there are several bike racks dotted all around campus. There are some directly outside of the LUU building, so you couldn’t be closer.

If the event is in Stylus, we have a cloakroom just outside the venue doors. We will always try and make sure there is a cloakroom at our other venues.

You sure can. There are additional Fruity tickets available from 10pm in the foyer of Leeds University Union. To make it fair on everyone, these are limited to two per person.

Unfortunately we can’t accept a photocopy or a photograph of your identification on a mobile phone. You must have a physical copy.

We accept various forms of ID but it must have a photograph, date of birth and a hologram.

We would never recommend that you buy a secondary ticket. The only way we can guarantee your entry into Fruity is by buying a ticket directly through us. There’s a chance that the ticket may be fake, invalid or already redeemed so buy through us just to be safe!
